Tortilla Chip Pepper Jack Crust

Crunchy chicken breasts with a nice and yummy sauce. What’s better to eat! Check out this amazing recipe for my tortilla chip pepper jack crust.

You’ll need (for the chicken):

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
1 (12 ounce) bag of tortilla chips.
4 ounces of shredded pepper jack cheese.
1 cup of mayonnaise.
½ tbsp of garlic powder.
½ tbsp of cumin.
½ tbsp of chili powder.
2 tsps of lime juice.

You’ll Need (for the sauce):

1 cup of mayonnaise.
½ cup of buttermilk.
1 cup of sour cream.
1 packet of ranch dip mix.
1 tbsp of garlic powder.
1 tbsp of onion powder.
1 – 3 tbsps of diced jalapeno slices.
1 tsp of lime juice.
2 avocados.

How to:

Blend half of the chips in the food processor and mix it with the shredded cheese.

In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin and lime juice.

Now dip the chicken breasts in the mayonnaise mixture then coat it in the chip mixture.

Arrange the chicken breasts in a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven to 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

In a food processor, mix all of the sauce ingredients together and pour over the chicken before serving. Enjoy!

Simple, easy and crunchy! I love this recipe so much, the chicken is so good! I serve this with some fries and a nice veggie salad.

Strawberry Cobbler

I have like a hundred recipes of strawberry dessert, and I never get enough of it! This fruit is magical and it makes every single dessert so special! Check out this cobbler.

You’ll Need:

2 cups of milk.
2 cups of sugar.
2 cups of flour.
3 cups of strawberries.
2 eggs.

How to:

Preheat the oven to 350°.

In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, milk and eggs until well combined then pour half of the batter in a 9×10 baking dish.

Rinse and dice the strawberries and arrange them on top of the batter evenly then spread the remaining batter over.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes et Voila!

SImple easy and yummy! This strawberry cobbler don’t take time to prepare and it’s super easy to make! I serve this topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Give it a shot!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Who doesn’t love strawberry desserts? It’s so refreshing and tasty. Check out my recipe for strawberry angel food dessert, I’m sure you will love it!

You’ll Need:

1 (10 inch) angel food cake.
2 (8 ounce) packages of softened cream cheese.
1 cup of white sugar.
1 (8 ounce) container of thawed frozen whipped topping.
1 quart of fresh sliced strawberries.
1 (18 ounce) jar of strawberry glaze.

How to:

Bake the cake according to package directions and crumble it into a 9×13 inch dish.

In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy and mix in the whipped topping.

Use your hands to mash the cake down and spread the topping over it.

Mix together the strawberries and glaze in a bowl until coated and layer over the cream.

Chill until serving time and enjoy!

Easy 3 Ingredients No Bake Pudding Cake

Sometimes fewer ingredients make the best things! Just like this 3 ingredients pudding cake. It’s super easy to make and it tastes like heaven! Check out how it’s made.

You’ll Need:

3 small packages of instant pudding.
8 oz of thawed cool whip.
1 box of graham crackers.

How to:

Prepare the instant pudding packages as directed and lay out graham crackers in a 9×13 pan and spread half the pudding on top.

Add a second layer of graham crackers and cover with the rest of the pudding.

Top with cool whip and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.

Cut before serving and enjoy!

Hamburger Sausage Broccoli Alfredo

Have you ever tried hamburger with broccoli? Even if you have, I don’t think it was as good as this recipe of hamburger sausage broccoli Alfredo! This is a masterpiece guys, check it out.

You’ll Need:

1 lb of ground beef.
1 lb of bulk sausage.
1 tsp of dried oregano.
1 chopped small onion.
1 clove of minced garlic.
10 to 12 oz of fresh broccoli.
1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese.
½ cup of heavy cream.
½ cup of grated parmesan cheese.
8 oz of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Salt and pepper.

How to:

Brown the hamburger with the sausage, onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat. Season with oregano, salt and pepper then drain off the fat.
Steam the broccoli until tender and season with salt and pepper.
Soften the cream cheese in the microwave for 45 seconds on high then whisk to smooth. Gradually whisk in the cream until smooth then mix in the parmesan cheese.
In a large greased casserole, mix together the hamburger, broccoli and cream sauce. Top with shredded cheese.
In a preheated oven to 350° bake for 35 to 45 minutes.

Easy, peasy and cheesy! This casserole is unbelievably delicious! The hamburger goes so good with the sausage as we all know, but with the broccoli and cheese, this casserole has another level of deliciousness! Try it yourselves!

Peach Roll Up Dessert

Peaches are my most favorite fruit. Whenever each peach season, I bake cakes with peaches, I make salads, desserts and anything that can possibly go with peaches! This peach roll up dessert is one of those good recipes! Check it out.

You’ll Need:

2 whole large peaches.
2 (8 oz) cans of crescent rolls.
2 sticks of butter.
1-½ cup of sugar.
1 tsp of vanilla.
Cinnamon.
1 (12 oz) can of mountain dew.

How to:

Preheat the oven to 350° and butter a 9×13 pan.
First prepare the peaches. Peel and pit them then cut into 8 slices. Roll each peach slice in a crescent roll and arrange in the pan.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the sugar and vanilla.
Pour the butter mixture over the peaches and the mountain dew around the edges.
Sprinkle a little cinnamon over the top and bake for 40 minutes.

Easy, peasy and sweet! This will make the perfect dessert! You can choose any fruit you like, but I can assure you that peaches are the best! Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Long John Silvers Chicken Planks

We like to indulge ourselves with some fried food from time to another. This recipe will show you the perfect batter to deep your chicken and get a perfect result. Check it out.

You’ll Need:

1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour.
4 tbsps of cornstarch.
½ tsp of baking soda.
½ tsp of baking powder.
½ tsp of salt.
1 ½ cups of heated ginger ale.

How to:

Mix together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl then heat the ginger ale for 1 minute in the microwave and mix with the dry ingredients until well combined.

Coat the fish, chicken or shrimp in the batter and deep fry in heated canola oil over medium high heat until golden brown.

Simple, easy and crispy! As I said, you can use rather chicken, fish or shrimp. Personally, I use full sized chicken breast fillets with some honey mustard dipping sauce.

MUFFINS THAT TASTE LIKE DOUGHNUTS RECIPE

What you need:

3/4 cup sugar

1 large egg

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking power

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 cup vegetable oil

3/4 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 Tbsp butter, melted

1/2 cup sugar, for rolling (I added in a few shakes of cinnamon)

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a muffin tin. In a large bowl, beat together sugar and egg until light in colour. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Pour into egg mixture and stir to combine. Pour in vegetable oil, milk and vanilla extract. Divide batter evenly into 10 muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until a tester inserted into the centre comes out clean.

While muffins are baking, melt butter and pour remaining sugar into a small bowl. When muffins are done, lightly brush the top of each with some melted butter, remove from the pan and roll in sugar. Cool on a wire rack.

LAZY MAN’S” PIE- PEACH COBBLER

Ingredients:

1 stick butter or margarine

1 C. milk

1 C. sugar

1 C. flour

1 tsp. baking powder

Dash of salt

1 qt. fruit, sweetened (peaches, cherries, blackberries, etc)

 

Instructions:

Melt butter in baking pan. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour batter in pan on top of butter; cover with fruit. Do not stir; batter will rise to top as it bakes and absorbs the flavor of the fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy!

POOR MAN’S STEW RECIPE

Ingredients :

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained

1.5 lbs potatoes, diced large

3 carrots, sliced

1 onion, diced

1 garlic clove, minced (I had this on hand already)

1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste

2 cups water

1 tsp. salt

¼ tsp. pepper

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. dried oregano

Directions :

Add the cooked ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic to a 5-quart or larger slow cooker.

In a small bowl whisk together the tomato paste, water, salt, pepper, onion powder and oregano. Pour this mixture over everything in the slow cooker. Stir.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours, without opening the lid during the cooking time.

Serve with buttered sandwich bread.
